EMX VMD202-R Sensitivity Remote Control

Use the EMX VMD202-R Sensitivity Remote Control handheld remote in conjunction with VMD202 vehicle motion detectors to easily adjust sensitivity levels on the probe. This remote control plugs into the harness on the vehicle motion detector to allow for easy fine tuning of the buried VMD.

Sensitivity is set based on your traffic patterns and the system supports 10 sensitivity settings ranging from position 0, which is the lowest sensitivity, to the highest sensitivity at position 9. Note that sensitivity is a function of speed and mass so the slower a vehicle is moving, the closer the vehicle must pass the probe to trigger the detector. After determining the best sensitivity settings for your situation, you can make the appropriate adjustments and remove the remote to reduce power consumption and prevent unwanted changes.
