How it works: A visitor presses the CALL button on the keypad and the base unit, which is setup indoors, rings. The user at the base unit answers by pressing the PUSH TO ANSWER/TALK button. The user can then press the GRANT PERMISSION button to allow the visitor to operate the gate; the GRANTED light on the keypad illuminates, indicating to the visitor they can push any number key on the keypad to open the gate.
Members of the household or guests who have an access code and simply enter it on the keypad to enter. Temporary codes can be issued and programmed to expire within a specified number of days
